City Faces in Different Places

By Michelle Duez on May 18, 2014 from City Faces

Depending on the season, you can find this young man participating in youth sports.  Please take a moment to meet my friend Logan Crayton.

How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Nine years.  Logan moved here when he was five from Shinnston.

Family? Parents are Mike and Andrea Crayton.  Mike is from Shinnston, a 1993 graduate of Lincoln High School.  Andrea is from Fairmont, a 1996 graduate of East Fairmont High School. His older brother Lucas will be 15 next week.  He’ll be a sophomore at BHS.  Levi, 9, will be in the fourth grade at Johnson Elementary School next fall.

What is your favorite color? Red

Where do you work? Logan will be a freshman at BHS next fall.  He would like to attend the University of Alabama and study accounting.

Favorite Bridgeport spot? The City Pool

Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? Logan likes Maple Lake.  He has fond memories at the lake…swimming with friends, fishing and going down the slide.

Favorite place outside of WV? Logan recently went to New York City on the Bridgeport Middle School Eighth grade trip.  It became his favorite place in just a few days’ time.  He really liked the bright lights of Times Square and the great shopping in the city.

Favorite musical group?  Hip hop, rap or whatever is on the radio, Logan says he likes it all.

Pets? A dachshund named Reese, a cat named Boots, a gecko and a turtle.
Hobbies? Sports – baseball, football and wrestling.  Logan played football and wrestled for BMS.  Both teams won the Harrison County Championships this year.  He also plays baseball for the Patriots and enjoys being a catcher.

Interesting fact about you?  Math is Logan’s favorite class.  He hit a grand slam homerun in Canton, Ohio last year on May 25th.  In his last year of Bridgeport Little League, he won the Bonn Kehrer Sportsmanship Award.
