City Faces in Different Places

On Sunday mornings, I love to stop by the Bridgeport Farmer's Market and pick up fresh fruits, veggies and meat for the week. The place just has a fantastic vibe. It has a relaxing environment to have a fresh breakfast and visit with friends. Today, I made some new friends at the market. Please take a moment to meet my new friend Peggi Alex.
How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Since October 2013 
Where are you originally from? Peggi is originally from Long Island, New York though she moved here from Florida. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2007 and the State University of New York with her O.D. (Doctor of Optometry) degree in 2011.
Are you married? Yes, to Peter Alex. They were married in September of 2013. Peter is a 1999 graduate of Robert C. Byrd High School and 2003 graduate of WVU and obtained his MBA from WVU in 2008. Peter works as a computer engineer at the FBI.
Where do you work? Peggi is an Optometrist for the VA Hospital in Clarksburg.
Favorite Bridgeport spot? The Bridgeport Farmer’s Market is a favorite for Peggi. She likes the fresh foods.
Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? Cooper’s Rock
Favorite place outside of WV? Greece is her heritage. She loves to visit her grandfather and other family members in Crete. She also loves visiting Paris and New York. She loves going to New York for the fabulous restaurants.
Best childhood memory? Playing kitchen with her younger brother of five years.
Favorite musical group? Peggi enjoys many genres of music from Salsa to Greek to Rock.
Hobbies? Peggi plays the piano and likes to sing. She likes to take photographs and has recently started baking. She tries to duplicate delicious French desserts she and Peter had on their honeymoon in Paris. She also enjoys making Greek food with her husband.
Interesting fact about you? Throughout high school and college in Florida, Peggi was in acapella singing groups. At the University of Florida she was a member of the No Southern Accents singing group.
