City Faces in Different Places

By Michelle Duez on July 27, 2014 from City Faces

I've spent the last six days traveling over 1,000 miles with my son Mark and his Babe Ruth baseball team in western Kentucky.  It's not often I spend this much time with just one of my three children.  I decided to interview Mark this week while we were on the road.  Please take a moment to get to know my middle son, Mark Duez.

How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Fourteen years, his entire life.

Family?  Parents are Matt and Michelle, brothers Michael, 17 and Mitchell, 10.  Matt is a 1987 graduate of BHS.  Michelle is from Maryland.

What is your favorite color? Red

Where do you go to school?  Mark will be a Freshman at BHS this upcoming school year.

Favorite Bridgeport spot? Anywhere Mark can play baseball, basketball or jus hang out with his friends.

Favorite WV spot outside of Bridgeport? The Coliseum in Morgantown to cheer on the Mountaineers.

Favorite place outside of WV? Aruba because the weather is perfect and there is so much to do, there is no time to be bored.

Favorite restaurant? Shogun

Pets? Three cats - Molly, Mo and Miles

Hobbies? Mark plays basketball and baseball.

Interesting fact about you? Mark's Bridgeport Little League team won the WV State 9-10 yr. old tournament when he was ten.  Last year and this year, his Babe Ruth All Star team won the State Championship. On Friday, in Henderson, Kentucky, he was awarded MVP of the game against Paris, Illinois in the Babe Ruth 14 yr. old Ohio Valley Regional Tournament.
