City Faces in Different Places

By Michelle Duez on August 10, 2014 from City Faces

Bridgeport is known for its sense of community and strong families.  This week I had the pleasure of getting to know Carisa Bonamico Morrison.  Please take a moment to get to know Carisa.

How long have you lived in Bridgeport? Thirty years, her entire life.  Carisa is a 2002 graduate of Robert C. Byrd High School.

Are you married? Yes, to Jamus Morrison.  The couple was married at Immaculate Conception in Clarksburg in 2007.  Jamus is a 2002 graduate of Robert C. Byrd High School.

Children? Two children - Aubrey, 5, attends St. Mary’s Elementary School and Abraham, two and a half.

What is your favorite color? Pink

Where do you work? Carisa is a hair stylist at Expressions in downtown Bridgeport.

Favorite Bridgeport spot? Her parent's house on Lawman Ave. She loves to hang out with her family and watch her kids play in the same tree house she and her siblings play on when they were little.

Favorite place outside of WV? Carisa loves to take her children to Idlewild Park in Pennsylvania.

Favorite restaurant? Oliverio’s Ristorante

Best childhood memory?  Every Monday night of Carisa’s life, her family has spent at her grandparent’s house (Giddie and Nana) for Monday night dinners.

Pets? A Blue Chow dog named Daisy

Hobbies? Carisa enjoys spending her spare time with her family and friends.  She also enjoys crafting and shopping.

Interesting fact about you? Her friends and coworkers would say she sweats glitter due to her crafting.
