Highly Popular Holiday Event, Truckerland, Canceled

A highly popular event that drew a big crowd last year, Winter Truckerland, has been canceled, according to information from the City of Clarksburg.
The city cited the forecasted inclement weather as the reason for the cancellation.
The event was scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 14, at Eastpointe. It was to take place at the Hobby Lobby Parking Lot in Clarksburg. The family friendly event featured semi-trucks decorated for children to enjoy.
There were also local vendors, face painting, food trucks and more scheduled. Santa was also to make an appearance in an event that was to run from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. This would have been the second year for Truckerland.
