Hotsinpiller Foundation Names 2025 Scholarship Recipients

The recipient of the Law Enforcement Officer Scholarship, Andrew Vernon is employed by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office. He attended Glenville State University where he majored in Administration of Justice.
cumulative 4.0 grade point average and participated in sports and organizations including captain of varsity softball, National Honors Society, French Honors Society (president), Girl-Up Club, French Club, FFA and manager of the school greenhouse. She also played travel softball and works as Meagher’s Irish Pub as a server. Kyleigh was also active in various community service projects. She attends Bethany University where she majors in criminal justice. The daughter of a West Virginia State Trooper, she plans to pursue a career in drug enforcement and violent crimes.
She was on the Archery Team, Band, and Color Guard with the Marching Band . Nicole also served as historian officer in the American Legion Auxiliary Tyler County Unit 48 for two years. She attends WVU where she majors in criminal justice. She would ultimately like to serve her home community as a natural resources police officer with the State of West Virginia. Nicole is the daughter of Misty and David Staller.
