Juvenile Killed in Morning Clarksburg Vehicle Accident

On March 18, 2026, at approximately 3:47 a.m., a 2003 Honda CRV, is believed to been traveling north on Route 19, in the Edgewood Addition of Clarksburg, struck the railroad trestle abutment causing heavy damage to the vehicle. The driver (juvenile) of the vehicle was deceased on scene.
The driver was a 16-year-old male.
No other passengers were in the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved. The investigation is pending. The Clarksburg Police Department is investigating.
Units from the Harrison Co. Sheriff’s Department, the Clarksburg Fire Department and Harrison Co. EMS also responded.
