Local Apartment Building Fire Leaves Individual Dead

According to WDTV, one person was killed in a fire in Fairmont early Wednesday morning, April 1.
The medical examiner was called to the scene after the fire at 320 Walnut Avenue, according to Marion County 911 officials. The West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office will be investigating the fire.
The fire started prior to 6:30 a.m.
The Fairmont Fire Department, Fairmont Police Department, and the Marion County Rescue Squad were all on the scene.
