By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on March 30, 2026

The Harrison County Chamber of Commerce proudly celebrated the official ribbon cutting for Steve Cross Boxing, now located at 112 North 6th Street in downtown Clarksburg on Thursday, March 26. The gym shares space with Rival Fitness, creating a dynamic environment focused on strength, discipline, and community wellness.

County and city officials joined Chamber representatives, supporters, and community members to recognize this exciting addition to the local fitness scene. Owner Steve Cross was honored for his commitment to providing a positive outlet for individuals of all ages through the sport of boxing.

Steve Cross Boxing offers training opportunities for beginners through experienced athletes, emphasizing not only physical fitness but also confidence, respect, and personal growth. The facility adds to the growing momentum of small business development in downtown Clarksburg.

“We are thrilled to welcome Steve Cross Boxing to our business community,” said Vice-Mayor Jerry Riffle. “This is a great example of passion turning into purpose, and we’re excited to see the impact it will have.”

Community members are encouraged to learn more and stay connected by following Steve Cross Boxing on Facebook.
