Reminder: Bridge Work Taking Place on Route 279

Work is expected to continue into the later afternoon along Jerry Dove Drive - State Route 279 - as crews do previously announced work by 
he West Virginia Division of Highways.

The work is taking place on the Interstate 79 overpass bridge that leads to United Hospital Center/White Oaks and in the opposite direction to Charles Pointe.
The work involves paving and repair of bridge approaches.
All four lanes will be involved, but there will be one lane open in each direction at all times.
Individuals may experience minor traffic delays in both directions as a result of the ongoing work.
Flaggers are in place to help with the traffice flow.
Work is expected to conclude at 5 p.m. today.
