Three Elected for Seats on Clarksburg City Council

Three new members were elected to the Clarksburg City Council Tuesday evening among 11 candidates running for office.
The top vote getter was Martin Howe with 693 votes, while Hattie Wright was second with 564 votes. Marc Jackson secured the third seat with 558 votes as he edged out Chad Sigmon who ended the election with 545 votes.
Also, Jon Calvert won the seat on the Clarksburg Water Board in a two-person race. Calvert finished with 809 votes to secure the win.
