ACT 2 Theatre Company Conducting Auditions in Early June; Program Open to Students in Grades 5-12

The ACT 2 Theatre Company will have auditions for its Summer Youth Theatre 2023 at 2 p.m. on June 4 and 5:30 p.m. on June 7 at the McCrory Marketplace Great Hall, 318 West Main Street, Clarksburg.
Show dates are 27, 28, 29, and 30 at the McCrory Marketplace Great Hall.
Summer Youth Theatre is open to rising 5th graders through graduating seniors. Auditioners will be cast in two one-act plays, but are not limited to acting roles. Students interested in technical aspects of theatre like lighting, sound, set design, and set construction are also encouraged to come to auditions to meet and talk with the directors, Cricket and John Hall. The Halls have led this program for the past several summers. They are known for finding creative ways to include everyone regardless of their skill level with the goal of helping young actors and theatre technicians develop more skills throughout the rehearsal process. This year is no different.
