Bridgeport to See 12 Sections of City Facing Potential Water Issues for Period of Sept. 3 through Sept. 13

Please be advised that the Bridgeport Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants throughout the City of Bridgeport. This is an on-going project that will continue through Fall 2024.
 
City Employees will be flushing fire hydrants, weather permitting, Tuesday, September 3, 2024 through Friday, September 13, 2024, in the following areas of Bridgeport:
 
WEEK 16 – SEPTEMBER 3 – SEPTEMBER 6, 2024
  • Cava Dr.
  • E. Pike St.
  • Emily Dr. (Rt 50 to Post Office)
  • Lodgeville Rd.
  • Tolley Dr.
  • Wonderbar Rd.
WEEK 17 – SEPTEMBER 9 – SEPTEMBER 13, 2024
  • Barnetts Run Rd.
  • Clubview Dr.
  • Johnson Ave.
  • Meadowbrook Mall Loop
  • Meadowbrook Mall Rd.
  • Meadowbrook Rd.
It is possible, but not likely, that residents may experience some discoloration, cloudy water, low pressure, or temporary loss of service of water during this period. The City will not be responsible for any damage caused by discolored water.
