FROM THE CITY OF BRIDGEPORT
Residents and Business Owners: Please help keep our community safe by clearing snow from the fire hydrants on or near your property. A clear 3-foot radius around the hydrant will significantly help firefighters quickly access water during an emergency.
This will also make the hydrants visible to first responders. A snow covered hydrant can potentially put lives at risk.
The City sincerely appreciates your assistance in helping to keep our community safe and accessible to all city employees during an emergency.
