By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on July 28, 2019

FROM THE WEST VIRGINIA DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS, DISTRICT 4 OFFICE

The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists that there will be a Traffic Delay/Lane Closure on US 50, Second Street Ramp both Eastbound and Westbound beginning on Monday, July 29, 2019 at 7 a.m. through Friday, October 25, 2019 at 7 a.m. (24/hr).

The purpose for the Traffic Delay/Lane Closure is to clean and paint the existing bridge structure at the Second Street Ramp.  There will be Single Lane Closures both Eastbound and Westbound on US Route 50.  Alternate Routes will be the Joyce Street Exit and the Chestnut Street Exit.

Use caution and expect delays.  Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute.

Please note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
