Lions Club Chicken Roast, Italian Sausage Sandwich Fundraiser Slated for Saturday in BMS Parking Lot

The Bridgeport Lions Club will have its chicken roast and Italian sausage tailgate fundraiser on Saturday in the front parking lot of Bridgeport Middle School.
It’s a similar fundraiser that the Lions have annually in June, just with the addition of an Italian sausage sandwich option.
Saturday’s event will begin at 10 a.m. and will last until the Lions sell out of food.
Patrons can purchase a plain seasoned chicken or BBQ chicken meal for $15 or an Italian sausage meal for $12. Both chicken and Italian sausage meals also come with a side of baked beans and a bottle of water.
Drive-thru ordering and pickup is requested in order to be COVID compliant. Also in regard to being COVID compliant, Lions members will be wearing masks and gloves and will follow CDC guidelines.
Lions Club brooms will also be available to purchase for $14.
