Time Travel: Virginia Avenue Snow Removal in 1979 and Winter Woes in Clarksburg's North View in 1950

City workers looks to clear this section of Virginia Avenue after a major snowstorm hit Bridgeport in 1979, and appear to be making significant progress. Anyone remember this particular storm? If so comment below.
Traffic appears to be back up and it also appears as if a minor accident has occurred in this November, 1950 photo along what is believed to be on 15th Street. At the top of the photo looks to be the former Hartman Elementary School.
