Cindy Hostutler, Operator and Manager of Long-Time and Popular Dave's Restaurant, Passes Away at 57

Cindy Rae Hostutler, 57, of Clarksburg, passed away on July 7, 2019. She was born November 11, 1961, in Clarksburg, daughter of the late David Rae Hostutler Jr and Kathleen McCann Hostutler.
 
Cindy graduated salutatorian at Roosevelt-Wilson High School and got her bachelor’s in Business from WVU. She operated and managed Dave’s Restaurant in Nutter Fort for years with her parents. Cindy enjoyed life to the fullest, was kind hearted and enjoyed entertaining for all events and holidays. Cindy was a member of the Clarksburg American Legion and the Clarksburg Eagles.
 
She is survived by her aunt, Clara Agnes McCann, Clarksburg; numerous cousins; the Viglianco kids, Marsha, Dan, Jim, Michael and Paul, who were like siblings to Cindy.
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her BUB, David Viglianco on January 9, 2014, several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Celebration of Cindy’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at the Clarksburg American Legion, 270 E. Main Street, Clarksburg, WV 26301 from 2-4 p.m.
 
Interment will be in Bridgeport Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to DavisFuneralHomeWV.com. Davis Funeral Home is honored to assist the Hostutler family.
