Doctor Jaclyn Rominger Named 2019 Recipient of League for Service Woman of Enduring Spirit Honor

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on November 18, 2019

Dr. Jaclyn Elsey Rominger was honored by the Clarksburg League for Service as the 2019 Woman of Enduring Spirit at a dinner held at the Bridgeport Country Club.  This award was created by the League to celebrate women in our community who volunteer above and beyond to make our city, county and state a better place.

Dr. Rominger grew up in Bridgeport, graduating from Bridgeport High School in 1999.  She attended West Virginia University and went on to graduate from WVU School of Dentistry.  Her dream was to open her own dentistry practice.  She opened Rominger Dental, located at White Oaks, in 2017.

Jaclyn is a Past President of the League for Service.  She has served on the Board of the Genesis Youth Crisis Center, she is currently President of Harrison County Rotary, and she serves on the Board of Medbrook  Children’s Charities. Jaclyn and her husband Johnnie are both involved with the Sleep in Heavenly Peace project which makes beds so that every child in West Virginia has a bed to sleep in.

Editor's Note: Dr. Jaclyn Rominger is shown accepting her award from Lu Bush, VP of WesBanco. WesBanco has sponsored this event since its inception in 2004.
