Popular Local Summer Venue, Tygart Lake Marina, to Close July 28 as the Result of Low Water Levels

The ongoing high temperatures that have persitsed with almost no precipitation have claimed an entertainment vicitim.
 
According to a post on their social media, The Tygart Lake Marina is closing for the season on July 28.
 
The post reads as follows:
 
"Hello Everyone- We regret to inform that due to the unusually low water levels currently affecting Tygart Lake, we must close the marina earlier than anticipated this season. 
 
**Important Date: Marina Closure: July 28th, 2024**
 
**Action Required: Boat and Jet Ski Removal: Please ensure that all boats and jet skis are removed from their assigned dock slips by the end of the day on Sunday, July 28th, 2024.**
 
Your understanding and prompt action are crucial in helping us manage this situation effectively. 
 
If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our office at: 304.265.3974."
