Sheriff Warning: Scammers Using Authentic Names of Harrison Sheriff's Department to Obtain Money

FROM THE OFFICE OF HARRISON COUNTY SHERIFF ROBERT MATHENY
It has been brought to our attention that scammers have been using authentic names from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office. These individuals are trying to obtain money in lieu of an arrest warrant for failure to show up for jury duty. Legal matters are not satisfied with prepaid gift cards, bitcoin, paypal, etc.
Please do not fall victim to this or any other scam.
