Off the Shelf: Looking for New Books to Try? BookBub is Great Internet Site to Visit to Meet that Need

By Sharon Saye on May 12, 2021 from Off the Shelf

BookBub is an internet site devoted to surprise, surprise, books.  For those who like to find current deals on eBooks, it is a great place to start and easy to sign up for notifications.  It is also a great place to visit to keep up with information on new book releases and it also has loads of lists of recommended reads.

For instance, one of their newest is “7 New Book Club Books to Read Based on Old Favorites.”  This blog entry pairs “exciting new books with old favorites to help you find the perfect pick.”

It recommends for all the fans who loved “Where the Crawdads Sing” by Delia Owens, a new book by Julie Carrick Dalton titled “Waiting for the Night Song.”  Cadie Kessler is summoned by a childhood friend home to Maple Crest when a body is found.  The two former friends are caught up in secrets and the events of 30 years past.

Other recent blog entries are: “A Bold New Thriller Explores the Darker Sides of DNA Testing,” “11 Books the BookBub Team Has Mom to Thank For,” “19 Excellent Memoirs According to Readers,” “28 of the Best Science Fiction Books About Space” and “15 Books Our Readers Loved in April.”

This is just the tip of the iceberg of what is available.  For all those looking for new books to try, BookBub is a great site.  And for the rest of us whose TBR already look like sections of the Bridgeport Public Library, BookBub is just going to make our lists rival the Library of Congress.
