BHS Softball Falls to Lincoln, 15-3; Photo Gallery from Contest by Joe LaRocca Included Inside Story

The Bridgeport High softball team suffered its fourth consecutive loss, falling to Lincoln, 15-3, on Monday. 
 
The Indians are now 3-11.
 
Kyleigh Anderson had two hits for the Indians and Kileigh Pugh hit a two-run triple for BHS. Anderson was tagged with the loss. She allowed eight runs on five hits with eight walks and two strikeouts in three innings.
 
Prior to Monday’s game against Lincoln, BHS lost to Morgantown 7-0, 6-2 to Grafton and 16-6 to Buckhannon-Upshur.
 
Madison Wiseman hit a three-run triple for the Mohigans in the first inning and they never looked back. Kate Karimer earned the win, allowing just one hit with seven strikeouts.
 
Mia Gibson had the Indians’ lone hit. Anderson was tagged with the loss.
 
Emily Peterson, Larimer and Jolene Deane each had two hits.
 
Anderson went 3-for-3 with two runs and was tagged with the loss against Grafton, allowing six hits and six runs in six innings with four walks and five strikeouts.
 
Kaylie Kwiatkowski had two hits and an RBI and Kennedy Wolfe added one hit and one RBI for Bridgeport.
 
In the loss to B-U, Pugh went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and a run. Wolfe and Kwiatkowski each had two hits. Anderson drove in two runs and took the loss, striking out three in 5 2-3 innings
