BHS Standout Phoenix Sickles to Attend Fork Union Military Academy, Reclassify for Class of 2026

Bridgeport High School basketball standout Phoenix Sickles made an announcement about his future plans Monday on X.
His post read:
“Very excited and grateful to announce my commitment to Fork Union Military Academy and will be reclassifying into the class of 2026!”
Sickles helped lead the Indians to the Class AAA state championship and was named the Class AAA state tournament MVP as well as the Class AAA First-Team All-State captain.
Sickles averaged 12.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.1 steals per game in 2024-25. On June 13, he will participate in the annual North-South All-Star Game.
