Bridge Off Johnson Avenue Going Toward District 4 of WVDOT to be Closed Until Mid to Late September

There will be bridge closure on County Route 24/34, Murphy’s Run Road, at the entrance to West Virginia Department of Transportation District 4 Headquarters that began at 7 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2025, and lasting until mid to late September 2025.
Traffic will be placed on a temporary bridge with two 11-foot lanes.
Expect delays.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow additional time for their commute due to the project.
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the project schedule.
