Rising Country Music Performer with Over 600 Million Streams of Work, Gavin Adcock, Coming to The Amp

By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on February 04, 2025

The City Parks of Clarksburg is proud to announce its first confirmed country concert for the 2025 summer series at the Clarksburg Amphitheater. Rising country music star Gavin Adcock will take the stage on Thursday, July 24, 2025, as part of his highly anticipated “Need To Tour” Tour.

A Georgia native from Watkinsville, Gavin Adcock has a remarkable story. A former Georgia Southern University football player, Adcock grew up working on his family’s cattle farm and dreamed of competing in professional bull riding. Though he began writing songs in high school, it wasn’t until a knee injury in 2021 sidelined his football career that he turned his focus to music. During his recovery, Adcock recorded and released his first original single, sparking what has become an extraordinary journey in country music.

Since then, Adcock’s star has continued to rise. He has released multiple singles that have collectively amassed over 600 million streams in the U.S. alone. His recent hit single, “A Cigarette,” has over 125 million streams and counting. In August 2024, he debuted his first major-label album, Actin’ Up Again, which became the most-streamed country debut album of the year with over 350 million streams to date. Adcock’s accompanying Actin’ Up Again Tour has sold over 100,000 tickets across two legs, with rave reviews for his electrifying performances.

“We are very excited to have the Amp included in Gavin’s tour this summer,” said Doug Comer, Superintendent of City Parks. “He has achieved remarkable success with streaming platforms, and we are confident that will translate into a memorable and dynamic live performance here in Clarksburg. The team is excited to welcome him to our community.”

Ticket Information: Tickets for Gavin Adcock’s July 24th performance will be available in three pricing tiers:

• $68 for Premium Seating
• $55 for Reserved Seating
• $45 for General Admission

Special pricing will also be available for aisle seating. Tickets are expected to go on sale in mid-February through the Clarksburg Amphitheater’s website, www.clarksburgamp.com.
