Virtual Fallen Stars 5K T-Shirt Pickup is Thursday, Friday

Locals who registered for the Derek Hotsinpiller Fallen Stars 5K by May 22 can pick up their event T-shirts 5-7 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Bridgeport High School. The shirts will be distributed via drive-thru in front of the school. Please stay in your vehicle and your shirt will be brought to you. This is the first wave of T-shirts, said Ashley Hotsinpiller, race coordinator. Those who registered after May 22 will receive T-shirts at a later date. 
 
Those who live in Bridgeport, Clarksburg, Fairmont, Grafton, Shinnston and Morgantown areas may pick up shirts. All others are in the mail. 
 
Scheduled for Sat., June 13, this the 10th year for the event which raises funds for the James and Derek Hotsinpiller Memorial Scholarship and pays tribute to all law enforcement officers. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event is a virtual race this year.
