Senior 101: West Virginia Wildlife: Emerging Habitat Areas with Humans
Bridgeport, WV – “Senior Live & Learn 101” will be held at the Bridgeport Public Library on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 2:00 pm. This event and the coming series of events designed for seniors is organized by Dr. Bob Anderson
Have our wild animals bumped up against and entered our domestic environments? Is it natural to see a wild deer galloping down one of our main streets? What’s your reaction to learning that a woman was bitten by a coyote in her back yard? Are rattle snakes found in every country in West Virginia? Ever hear of attaching transmitters to rattlers to see where they go?
Come join us when Wildlife Biologist, Steve Rauch of the WV’s Department of Natural Resources will give us an expert update on wild animal habitats, characteristics, health, and safety. As with all our free sessions, registration is a must. Please call at 304-842-5194 by October 12th to reserve your seat and any handouts.
For more information about the event, please contact Tyler Grogg at the Bridgeport Public Library at 304-842-8248.
