Barbour County Sheriff's Office Deputy Passes Away

FROM THE BARBOUR COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
Earlier this week, the Barbour County Sheriff's Department announced the passing of one of its deputies. No cause of death was listed in the social media post made to the departmenth's Facebook page.
Here is the post:
"It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Deputy Todd Deffet. A brother in blue, forever missed, he leaves behind a legacy of courage and commitment to protecting others. Rest easy brother, we’ve got the watch from here. Though gone, he will always be our Brother in Arms. A true brother in Blue, NEVER FORGOTTEN."
