Dr. Michael R. Beard Joins UHC Staff

Arkansas native Michael R. Beard, MD comes to West Virginia, joining Whitehall Medical, which is operated by United Hospital Center. A family medicine practitioner, he will be in practice with Richard E. Vasicek, DO.
A graduate with honors from Henderson State University with a Bachelor Science in Chemistry, he went on to the University of Arkansas College of Medicine for his medical degree and also completed his residency there in the Department of Family and Community Medicine.
For a time, he was in solo practice at Bryant Family Clinic, before becoming the medical director at Timberidge Ranch and Birchtree Communities. He also worked at Saline Wound Healing Center.
Dr. Beard is board certified in family practice and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
