Health Naturally is Open on Johnson Avenue

By Julie Perine on February 26, 2026

The long-time Fairmont health and wellness business, Health Naturally, has relocated to Bridgeport.

Located at 1219 Johnson Avenue, Suite 103 - the space formerly occupied by Stonewall Coffee - the business offers health consultations and a long list of herbal supplements, vitamins and more. Owner Trish Keener believes in keeping good health simple. It was her own health issues that inspired her to seek out her certification as a holistic health coach and eventually own a specialized business.

“I was working as a medical assistant and saw my body changing. My eye was twitching; I had low back pain and swollen joints. I was told by my doctor that I was getting old, and I said I wasn’t buying that,” she said. “So, I went on my own journey, started my own research, got into fitness training and became a holistic health coach.”

By changing her lifestyle and stress level, adding natural supplements, eating healthier, and exercising properly, she saw her body heal.
“I knew that was the way God intended for us to live and I wanted to share my knowledge,” Keener said.

She ran with the mindset that good health doesn’t have to be difficult. It is a combination of simple changes that make a world of difference.
For those who know what they need to purchase to enrich their health and lifestyle, Health Naturally is stocked with plenty of products. For those who don’t know where to start, their answers are also at the retail store.

“We do health consultations to see what biomarkers are off in your body and what your body needs right now,” she said. “We use ZYTO technology to do a hand scan which reads sweat glands. Our body is always speaking and sweat glands have a lot of information in them.”
After the scan, Keener can print out a detailed graph containing individualized information for the client.

“We talk about all of it and I’ll ask some questions to narrow it all down so we can come up with a plan they can walk away with and start that day,” Keener said.

Results may show that the client needs natural supplements from vitamins to collagen to iodine parasite cleanses and more. Or a client may not be drinking enough water and find himself/herself mineral deficient.

Keener loves helping people right where they are in their journey and getting them on their way to a long, beautiful life. She does treat men, but a large majority of her clients are women.

“We are all tough and we think we can handle it all,” she said. “I can help them lower their stress levels and recognize where the stress is coming from. I can explain that stress is not benign. It is affecting hormones, sleep, the immune system and how we detox.”

Keener said sometimes she encounters a client whose health issues are beyond her expertise and she will refer him or her to a professional who can run deeper tests.

Health Naturally also carries healthy products like farm-fresh eggs, local grass-fed beef tallow, local honey and clean coffee replacement, soap made with essential oils, clean protein powders, electrolytes, detoxes and cleanses, as well as elderberry syrup fire cider made by Keener and healthy cookies made by her mother.

“We also have lots of free materials. Come in and get a free book on alternative medicine of any type you want to learn about,” Keener said. “If you’re not ready to jump on the supplement bandwagon, we can help you.”

A Bridgeport resident and Liberty High School graduate, Keener previously worked as a cross-fit coach at Sozo Fitness. She continues to be active physically. In November of 2025, she purchased Health Naturally which had an 18-year history in Fairmont. She is happy to bring her business to Bridgeport.

“I lived on Corbin Branch for 16 years. I go to church in Bridgeport. I’ve been a fitness coach here and I shop here. It’s where I do life so that’s why I wanted to bring my business here,” she said. “A lot of customers have followed me here and that’s been really nice because we get to know people and love them.”

At Health Naturally, Keener also hosts wellness workshops focusing on specific health issues.
“We keep it fun and light and people can shop at a discount. My staff and I are there to answer all their health questions.”

A workshop focusing on heart health was scheduled for the evening of Friday, Feb. 20, but had to be postponed due to an area power outage.

Health Naturally also hosts thermography, a non-invasive, radiation-free diagnostic technique that uses infrared cameras to map heat patterns on the skin, identifying blood flow changes related to inflammation or cancer.

“We work with Three Rivers Thermography out of Pittsburgh,” Keener said. “People interested in the procedure can call us to register then they will be contacted by that company.”

Health Naturally is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10-2 on Saturday. All are welcome to stop in. To stay up to date on workshops and thermography opportunities, follow the Health Naturally Facebook page.
