STRONG Idea: 12 Days of Fitness; Day 12

By Emily Stapleton on December 13, 2013 from Strong Ideas

On the twelfth DAY OF FITNESS, my trainer gave to me

12 Squat Hops
11 Full Body Sit-ups
10 Stance Jacks
9 Burpees
8 Spider Man Push-ups
7 Squat Jumps
6 Push-ups
5 Squats
4 Jumping Jacks
3-V-crunches
2-Floor to Ceilings and
A 1-minute plank.

It’s time to add our final exercise to the 12 Days of Fitness.  Hopefully you’ve been adding an exercise on every day. If not, click here to start at the beginning or here to understand the nature of this challenge.

The final exercise of the series is Squat Hops.  If you’ve been following along, you should be pretty good at squats by now.  For this exercise, hold the squat position and perform little hops.  Watch the video for a demo.  In fact, this time you can follow me on the video to complete the entire 12 Days of Fitness series.  This is truly where you get Stronger!

Water Challenge:  I hope you’re feeling the benefits of increased water consumption.  Make drinking water part of your lifestyle.  Anytime I feel like I’m slipping in this department, I simply take a few days to record how much I’m drinking and I’m back on track.

Just Breath:  If you’ve learned nothing else from this 12-day challenge, I hope you’ve felt the benefits of deep breathing.  Use breathing to help you workout more effectively, but also to help you handle everyday stress.

This concludes the 12 Days of Fitness by STRONG…but it doesn’t have to end here.  I hope you’re feeling fit, fast, flexible, and Strong.  Keep it up!

Emily Stapleton
