Bridgeport High School Class of '24 has 101 Seniors Earn a Combined 325 Scholarships Exceeding $3.5M

Bridgeport High School has many traditions. Among those traditions is to be among the best academic high schools in West Virginia.
Last month, during the Senior Assembly and again at graduation, the students helped to prove the lofty academic reputation and tradition remains in place.
According to Bridgeport High School Counselor Michael Lemley, BHS students graduating this year earned more than $3.5 million in scholarships. The exact total came in at $3,544,738.63.
The total is the result of the Class of 2024 earning 325 scholarships. Lemley said those 325 scholarships were awarded to 101 members of the graduating class.
