Bridgeport Police Asking for Public Help in Identifying Women Sought in Meadowbrook Mall Shoplifting

By Jeff Toquinto on April 19, 2024

The Bridgeport Police Department is hoping the community can assist in a felony investigation for an incident that took place last month at the Meadowbrook Mall.
According to Bridgeport Officer C.C. Turner, a shoplifting incident took place on March 16 at the mall. Turner said it occurred JCPenney at 6 p.m. on that day.

“I am hoping for an ID on two female suspects,” said Turner, who just recently was able to get the surveillance video. Despite the grainy images, police are hopeful someone can ID the women in question.

The first suspect is a white female wearing black pants and a shirt with an arm brace on. The second suspect is a black female wearing a blue track suit with a black shirt underneath. She also has on glasses and has gray hair, but the hair could possibly be a wig.

“The two females stole a felony amount of clothing from JCPenney,” said Tuner.

The females left the store driving a silver Infinity SUV. It had New York license plates.

Anyone who may know the individuals, or have any information, is asked to contact Turner by phone at his desk at 304-848-6124, and you can leave a message if he does not answer. If wishing to speak to someone and he is not in, you can call the office line during regular work hours at 304-842-8260.

Turner can also be contacted via email at CTurner@BridgeportWV.com
