The Square in Bridgeport has a new business in place in one of the few vacant storefronts that has been available in the past few years.
Earlier this year, in May, Supple Law Bridgeport began operations in the plaza off Virginia Avenue and near to Main Street. The business took over the location that was formerly home to Calluna’s Boutique. The office can be found between Bridge Nutrition and Insight Astronomy.
This marks the first branch of Supple Law. It has headquarters in Point Pleasant.
“Our primary practice of law is bankruptcy and other financial law, and we felt there was a need for bankruptcy lawyer,” said Joe Supple, who along with his wife Cary, are the firm’s partners. “We knew there were a couple of bankruptcy lawyers that had retired from their practice and felt there was a need for it.”
Supple Law has been in business for more than 20 years, he said. They began operations in Bridgeport in May.
“We’ve done pretty good at the new location, and more important, we’ve been able to help a lot of clients who have sought our service,” said Supple.
Supple Law’s location is part of the building in the plaza that is owned by Bow Tie Properties Real Estate Development. Currently, one employee is housed at the site, and Supple said they plan to add to the staff in the months ahead.
The business is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. To contact the office, call 304-933-3888.
