Harrison County Structure Fire Sends One to Hospital

According to the Harrison County 911 media log, one person was taken to United Hospital Center Wednesday night after a structure fire that broke out in a residential unit.
The blaze was called into 911 at 8:22 p.m. and listed on Maken Road, which runs paralle to U.S. Route 50 West.
Multiple first responders were called to the scene. Upon arrival, they were dealing with heavy smoke and a working fire.
Several units responded to the scene including the Reynoldsville, Nutter Fort, Salem, and Spelter Fire Departments. The Harrison County Emergency Squad, along with Anmoore and Nutter Fort EMS, also were on the scene.
