Reminder: School Not in Session Monday for Students

As a reminder, Harrison County Schools will be closed for students on Monday, Feb. 21 as part of a regularly scheduled day off on the school system's 2021-22 calendar.
Although students will have a day off with no work assigned, teachers and administrators will report. The day will feature three items that used to be handled on different days, often with a two-hour early dismissal or a two-hour delay.
On Monday, there will be faculty-senate meeting and staff professional development during the day. There will also be a parent-teacher conference held at each school.
For information on when your school is holding parent-teacher conferences, please contact them as times and procedures may vary.
