By Connect-Bridgeport Staff on October 03, 2020
FROM MATT DEMOTTO, PRINCIPAL OF BRIDGEPORT HIGH SCHOOL:
Bridgeport High School will move to remote learning on Monday, Oct. 5. In-person learning is suspended until further notice. Students should look to Schoology for information from teachers regarding class work. The administration will also communicate via Schoology. Our plan is to engage in a similar fashion to what we have done on Fridays with a slightly different schedule. Students should engage on Schoology in a routine manner as follows:
8 a.m. 1st Block
9 a.m. 2nd Block
10 a.m. 3rd Block
11 a.m. 4th Block
Please stay disciplined to your schedule and begin working on assignments as they are assigned.
Teachers will utilize a variety of ways to deliver the curriculum including Schoology conferencing, video interactions and independent assignments.Students should reach out to their teachers via Schoology or Livegrades for help with content or other issues. The Harrison County Schools Technology Support line is 304-326-7777.
This announcement comes on the heels of this evening's announcement that Harrison County is orange on the School Alert System map, meaning that all learning is remote. Read that information HERE.
