Stonewall Resort Thanks Military With A Day of Free Golf September 11 Weston, WV (September 11, 2014) – As part of the 2014 Freedom Day USA event, Stonewall Resort will provide a day of free golf for members of the military on Thursday, September 11, resort officials announced. Mike Hager, general manager at Stonewall Resort, said, “We hope to honor the sacrifice of our local military personnel – anyone who is currently serving or has served in our military – by providing a day of golf for free,” Hager said. “This is just one small way in which Stonewall Resort can say thank you.” Hager said members of the military can play for free on September 11 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Those interested should call the golf shop in advance to make their tee time. A valid military ID is needed to qualify. Additionally, members of the military golfing at Stonewall Resort on September 11 can enter a drawing to win a free night’s stay in the lodge, to include a free breakfast buffet for two in Stillwaters Restaurant. On September 11, 2014 businesses across the United States will join in Freedom Day USA, a national Thank You Movement for the members of our military and their immediate families, along with Veterans. Each business participant is providing a thank you gift, in the form of free services, goods, discounts, and various other offers.
