Steve Ludwig, director of sales and marketing, said, “Our Christmas Shoppe is stocked full of quality products that can meet just about any holiday gift giving need from ornaments – like the special 2014 collectible ornament – and primitive decorations, to Nutcrackers, Christmas trees and home décor items.” Ludwig said that the Shoppe is pricing many products at incredible savings of up to 50 percent on some gift items (some exclusions may apply) and he noted that the store would be open almost every day (including Thanksgiving) with extended hours on “Black Friday” (Friday, Nov. 28). The Christmas Shoppe, spread across two large rooms, is located off the main lobby of the resort lodge. On Friday, November 28th, guests are invited to ring in the Christmas season with the Second Annual Stonewall tree lighting, taking place at 5:00 p.m., complete with caroling, cookies and delicious hot cocoa and cider. Additionally, a large model train show will be displayed in the Birch Room from 5:00-8:00 p.m. On Saturday, Nov. 29, guests can join Santa for breakfast in Stillwaters Restaurant from 9:00-11:00 a.m., participate in a wreath-making workshop (10 a.m.-noon; cost $25), or relax to the soothing sounds of the Adam Loudin Jazz Trio from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Activities continue on Sunday with a festive brunch with Santa from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. as well as the annual Mtn. Laurel Spa Holiday Open House from 10:30am-3pm, featuring chair massages, paraffin hand treatments, facial consultation and hand reflexology.
